What Is A Bug?
For the purposes of the Bug Bounty program we have kept the definition of a bug broad. Bugs include any errors, flaws, failures, or faults on the GameDay Squad platform that cause it to not behave as intended.
How Do I Submit A Bug Report?
Coaches can simply report bugs that they find by accessing the Bug Bounty page on the GameDay Squad website. Write a description of the bug you've found including what platform you are experiencing the bug on, what actions you took before encountering the bug & how many times you have encountered this bug. If relevant, please also upload a screenshot of the bug alongside your bug report.
How Are Bugs Classified?
Bugs are classified based on the impact they have on the platform and its users. The classification system is as follows:
Low: Vulnerabilities that have a minor impact on the platform or its users, such as a cosmetic issue.
Medium: Vulnerabilities that have a moderate impact on the platform or its users, such as the ability to view sensitive information.
High: Vulnerabilities that have a significant impact on the platform or its users, such as the ability to execute unauthorized actions.
Critical: Vulnerabilities that have a severe impact on the platform or its users, such as the ability to take complete control of the platform.
What's In It For Me?
Coaches are rewarded if they are the first person to submit a bug report for that particular bug. The reward will be determined based on the severity of the bug identified.
The monthly reward for 'Bug Catcher Of The Month' leaves winners with a very tough decision: 5 x Unique 9 Player Packs OR 4 x tickets to any standard AFL or NRL game of their choice!
How Do I Know If I'm The First To Identify A Bug?
Coaches who are the first to identify a bug will have their GameDay Squad account automatically credited with the relevant Player Packs. The GameDay Squad developers keep track of all submitted bugs and complete a monthly bug review. There will be an updated list of Bug Catchers and severity of each bug identified each month. Please be patient as it will take some time to fully inspect the submitted bug report and confirm the first coach that identified the bug. 'Bug Catcher Of The Month' winners will be contacted for their decision on which reward they would prefer.
